Tennis & golfer's elbow

Despite the names, many people with tennis or golfer’s elbow don’t play either sport. The pain comes from small tears where the forearm tendons attach at the outside or inside of the elbow, usually from repeated gripping. Most cases get better without surgery. We start with a break from the activity that aggravates it, a brace and a strengthening program, and consider injections or a procedure only if the pain doesn’t settle.
