Meet the team

Your surgeon, and the team behind your recovery.

Surgery is one day. Getting back to what you love takes a team. These are the people you'll work with from your first visit through your return.

Katherine "Katie" Vadasdi, MD

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Shoulder, Elbow & Knee · Chief Medical Officer, ONS · Director, ONS Women's Sports Medicine Center

Dr. Katherine Vadasdi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in surgery and sports medicine of the shoulder, elbow and knee, from arthroscopic ligament, tendon and cartilage repair to total and reverse total shoulder replacement. She trained at Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School, completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and her fellowship in shoulder, elbow and sports medicine at Columbia University, where she served as assistant team physician to Columbia Athletics.

She believes the best results come from a team that knows each patient’s goals, and she builds her care around that team. Outside the office, she is an endurance athlete and mountaineer: two Ironman finishes, and climbs of Kilimanjaro, Mount Rainier and the Grand Teton.
