Ski injuries

A fall on the slopes most often hurts the knee or the shoulder: an ACL tear from a twisting fall, or a dislocation or rotator cuff tear from landing on an outstretched arm. If you’re injured on a ski trip, we’ll see you once you’re home, review any imaging from the mountain, and plan the next steps. Before the season, a few weeks of leg and core strengthening can lower your chance of a knee injury.
